A 2008 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award recipient was able to support U.S. troops on the global tour.Read More   U.S. Marine Gen. James E. Cartwright, vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, thanks Marines for their service during a visit to Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, Nov. 14, 2008. Cartwright visited the base as part of an eight-day USO trip.

Patrick Smith, a REMSA Representative joined the Uso Tour with Vice Chairman Of The Joint Chiefs Of Staff.  “I was honored and privileged to represent the men and women of Regional Medical Service Authority and ESGR on the tour,” said Smith. “I was humbled by the opportunity to meet troops from around the world and let them know how much we support them at home.”Read More   Patrick Smith talks with U.S. Army Spc. Patrick Smith, President and CEO of Regional Emergency Medical Services Authority of Reno, Nevada, has joined Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. James Cartwright, and other celebrities on an international USO Tour to show support to U.S. troops serving overseas.Read More

11/12/2008 Tennessee Nominees Sought for Employer Support Freedom Award
In 2007, the state of Tennessee was honored for its support.  "The state of Tennessee demonstrates its support by sending care packages, mail and e-mails to its deployed Guard and Reservists and has named roads and state highways for many National Guard and Reserve members," a statement reads on the Freedom Award Web site.Read More
