Nominated by a wind tunnel technician, AeroDyn Wind Tunnel specializes in wind tunnel testing for automotive racing and is comprised of 21 employees, five of whom have or are serving in the military. AeroDyn Wind Tunnel was selected as a Freedom Award recipient for its outstanding support which includes differential pay between military pay and AeroDyn Wind Tunnel salary during deployment; continuing employee and enrolled family members’ medical and life insurance benefits during active duty; actively recruiting members of the National Guard and Reserve because of their values, education, training, leadership skills and teamwork; and providing ongoing support and contact with both deployed employees and their families. The company has received multiple ESGR state awards including two Patriot Awards, an Above and Beyond Award and the 2008 Pro Patria Award.
