Nominated by a district sales manager in Marlboro, New Jersey, AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals was selected as a Freedom Award recipient for its outstanding support which includes providing National Guard and Reserve employees differential pay between their military pay and AstraZeneca salary during deployments; continuing employee medical benefits during deployments; company-wide recognition from senior leadership; and creating Military Support Employee Network Group and assigning a Family Support Coordinator to each family of deployed employees.
